Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman Leather

This is an Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman, models 670 and 671, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1956. This set was produced in the United States in 2024. The shells on this set are composed of santos palisander, and the seat and ottoman are upholstered in black leather. Both pieces have aluminum bases with brushed aluminum top surfaces, and matte black powder coated sides. This set is widely considered one of the most significant designs of the 20th century. This is the “standard/original size” not the “tall” version.

The lounge chair measures 33 inches long, 33 inches wide, and is 31.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 15 inches and an arm height of 19 inches. The ottoman measures 21.5 inches long, 26 inches wide, and is 17.25 inches high. This piece is like new and has never been used in a home or office setting.
